Poutine Week 2026

September 16 - 27

Grand Rapids' Cheesiest Tradition Returns.

Michigan Street Poutine Week is back for its sixth year — and we’re bringing the heat (and the gravy) to more spots, more plates, and more reasons to loosen your belt. For 12 days, the restaurants of Michigan Street go head-to-head with their wildest takes on the ultimate comfort dish. From classic curds-and-gravy purists to boundary-pushing flavor mashups, there’s a poutine out there with your name on it.

Participating restaurants and menus will be announced soon. Follow us on social so you don’t miss the reveal.

How It Works

Step 1: Get A Passport

Pick up your passport at any participating restaurant when the event kicks off.

Step 2: Eat Poutine

Visit at least 4 locations and collect a stamp at each. (More than 4? Strongly encouraged.)

Step 3: Vote

Cast your vote online for your favorite. Voting opens September 16.

Step 4: Get A Shirt

4 stamps + your vote = a free Poutine Week tee. Pick up your shirt at 7 Monks.

All Aboard the Gravy Train!

Our beloved trolley crawl is rolling again. Dates and stops coming soon; but trust us, you’ll want to clear your calendar for this one.
