A Little History

Poutine Week launched in 2020 to drive traffic to Michigan Street businesses and give the neighborhood a signature event worth coming back for. Six years later, it’s one of Grand Rapids’ most anticipated food traditions — with a loyal following, growing media attention, and restaurants that return year after year because it works.

Poutine Week 2026 runs September 16 – 27 on Michigan Street, Grand Rapids, MI. Presented by the Michigan Street Corridor Improvement Authority.
